Delta congratulates our 2023 Delta Woman of the Year, Cindy Munz!
Cindy pledged in the Spring of 1972 and graduated from the University of Redlands in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts in Multiple Subjects. During her days at the U of R she was involved in Spurs, spent a semester in Salzburg and was an active member of her church.
Since college, Cindy has always been an active member of the Alpha Chapter. She has served as the president and co-president any time she has been needed. She has worked with the active chapter many times, coordinating the Mother-Daughter Tea and, recently, the “Cuca’s and a Cold One” Homecoming event. She continues to be involved with the U of R, is an active member of the Town and Gown organization, co-chaired many of her class reunions, and even worked as an adjunct professor in the education department. Cindy spent her professional career as a teacher, then a school principal, and finally a Coordinator of Instruction at the San Bernardino County Office. She continues as an active member for her church and in the Redlands community, serving on numerous boards and various volunteer activities (in fact, there are too many to name!).
Cindy’s gifts of time to Delta, to her community, to her friends and family are immeasurable…she gives and gives and gives of her time and her heart…and then looks around to see if there’s anything else she can do to help! She has had a prestigious career in education, an exceptional history of volunteerism, and is dedicated to her friends and her family.
